Common questions
Does the app cost extra?
No. The Holidu Host App is included in your Holidu account, with no subscription and nothing to unlock. Download it for iPhone or Android, sign in with the account you already use on the desktop, and every property, booking and message is there. There's no separate plan for mobile use.
Can I do what I do on the desktop?
The day-to-day, yes: change a price, block dates, answer a guest, accept a booking change, check a payout or ask the Holidu AI Assistant. Anything you change in the app is saved to your Holidu account and synced to your booking platforms, exactly as if you'd done it at your desk.
Which phones does it work on?
iPhone and Android. Download the Holidu Host App from the App Store or Google Play and sign in with your Holidu account. Your properties, calendar and messages are already there, so there's nothing to set up again, and you can use the app and the desktop side by side.
Can I choose which notifications I get?
Yes. Notifications for new bookings, changes, cancellations, payouts and listing opportunities can each be switched on or off, and every guest message can reach you as a push notification. You can also get arrival and departure reminders 1, 3 or 7 days ahead, so you're never caught off guard.
Is it the same app guests use?
No. Guests use the Holidu app to search and book holiday homes; you use the Holidu Host App to manage your rental. They're two different apps in the store, so look for “Holidu Host App” when you download it. Your host account and all your properties only show up in the Host App.
Can I answer guests from the app?
Yes. Every guest message from every platform lands in the app's inbox, with the Holidu AI Assistant built in. It can answer common questions for you, and you can reply yourself wherever you are, from the train or the beach. Conversations stay in sync with your inbox on the desktop.
Can I see my payouts in the app?
Yes. Your payout overview and invoices are in the app, so you can check what's been paid, what's coming and which fees applied to each booking wherever you are. When you need the documents for your tax advisor, you can download them from your Holidu account on the desktop as well.
Can I accept booking changes in the app?
Yes. When a guest asks to change a booking, you get a notification and can accept or decline the request in one tap. Once you accept, the booking, your calendar and your other platforms update automatically, so the change is handled before you've put your phone away.
Can I manage several properties in the app?
Yes. All the properties in your Holidu account appear in the app. You can switch between them to check calendars, change prices or reply to guests, and notifications tell you which property a new booking or message belongs to. It works the same whether you host one home or many.
How do I get the Holidu Host App?
Download it from the App Store for iPhone or from Google Play for Android, then sign in with your Holidu account. Your properties, calendar and messages are already there. Switch on the notifications you want, and new bookings and guest messages reach you the moment they come in.
