How it works

How the sync works

You change it in Holidu; all your booking platforms follow automatically.

Your home goes live on 25+ booking platforms

Holidu creates and runs your listings, so there's no separate Booking.com or Airbnb account to set up. Already have a listing of your own elsewhere? Link its calendar.

Change it once

A price, a blocked week, a booking you add yourself: change it once in Holidu and every booking platform you're on updates automatically. Linked calendars get your availability too.

Every booking lands in one place

Bookings from any platform, or made directly, land in your Holidu calendar and close those dates everywhere else.

Direct bookings included

Bookings from your direct booking website or the booking module sync like any other channel: the dates close everywhere else automatically, and everything sits in one calendar.

Your calendar stays up to date on Booking.com

Bookings, blocked dates and prices are synced automatically from your Holidu account to every booking platform your home is listed on.

FAQ

Common questions

Can double bookings still happen?
The channel manager is built to keep that risk low: every booking closes those dates on your other platforms. It reduces the risk, but a booking platform can change a booking on its own side, so we can't promise zero.
How fast do changes reach the platforms?
Changes sync automatically and usually show within an hour on the platforms Holidu lists you on. Calendars you link yourself via iCal refresh less often, so they can take one to two hours or more. If you take a booking by phone, add it in Holidu straight away, so the dates close everywhere as quickly as possible.
Do I need an account on each platform?
No. Holidu creates and runs your listing on each booking site for you, so there's no separate Booking.com or Airbnb account to set up. You enter your home once in Holidu, choose the platforms you want, and Holidu publishes and maintains the listings. Every booking from those platforms arrives in your one Holidu calendar.
Can I connect a listing I manage myself?
Yes. Link its calendar to Holidu via iCal: its bookings land in your Holidu calendar and close those dates on your other platforms. Linked calendars refresh less often than direct connections and only share availability, not prices, so check them now and then and keep your prices on that site up to date yourself.
Are manual and direct bookings included?
Yes. Manual bookings you add yourself, blocked dates and bookings from your own website are closed on every connected platform, just like a booking from Booking.com or Airbnb. Whatever lands in your Holidu calendar is what the platforms see, so your calendar is the one place to keep up to date.
Is Holidu a channel manager?
Holidu is a holiday rental management platform, and a channel manager is one part of it. Your home also goes out to 25+ booking platforms without separate accounts, with pricing, guest messages and payments in the same place, and local expertise and help in your language behind it.
What does a channel manager do?
It keeps prices, availability and bookings in sync across every booking platform you are on, so you manage one calendar instead of several. Holidu also keeps your listings in line with each platform's requirements, such as registration numbers, and shows you if a platform rejects something. In Holidu, the channel manager is part of your account.
Which booking sites are connected?
Holidu lists your home on 25+ booking platforms, including Booking.com, Airbnb and Vrbo, and keeps them all in sync for you. Which platforms are available depends on where your home is. If you also run a listing yourself on another site, you can link its calendar to Holidu, so its bookings close your dates everywhere else.
Can I block dates for myself?
Yes. If you need dates for personal use or maintenance, block them in your Holidu calendar and they become unbookable on every connected platform. Unblock them and they can be booked again. If a guest books with you directly, add it as a booking instead of blocking the dates.
Does it work with my own website?
Yes. Bookings from your direct booking website, or from the booking module on the website you already have, are part of the same sync: those dates close on your other platforms. Bookings you take outside Holidu don't reach your calendar automatically, so add them yourself.
