Your future team

You will be part of Bookiply Product, a highly international team composed of Engineers, Designers, Product Managers, Technical Support Engineers, and QA distributed across our headquarters in Munich and our Málaga office. Together with your colleagues, you will focus on creating best-in-class tooling to help both homeowners manage their vacation rentals effortlessly and support internal stakeholders in executing their responsibilities more effectively.

Your role in this journey

Our mission is to finally make finding and booking the perfect vacation rental easy. As a Junior Product Manager within the Motherboard squad, you will be based either in Munich or Málaga and will support the mission by empowering internal stakeholders with solutions tailored to their specific needs. You will manage an engineering team responsible for providing tooling to a diverse set of stakeholders including sales representatives, sales operations, account management, marketing, and customer happiness.

  • Lead the full product development lifecycle from ideation, requirements gathering, design, development, post-release support, and impact monitoring

  • Interface with many different stakeholders, both technical and business, in order to deliver solutions developed in an agile environment based on Scrum and Kanban methods

  • Conduct user research to identify pain points, compile requirements, develop proof of concepts to address them, and turn ideas into reality by successfully executing on them

  • Systematically leverage data to uncover opportunities, drive your decision making, and prioritize projects accordingly to enable the achievement of both short and long-term objectives

  • Execute, create and prioritize team tasks and processes by effectively using a number of tools (ie. Confluence, Looker, JIRA, SQL queries)

  • Gain exposure to a wide variety of technical challenges and find solutions for efficiently solving them

Your backpack is filled with

  • A university degree in computer science, business informatics, or related fields

  • A strong business acumen and affinity for translating business problems and opportunities into technical solutions

  • A desire to gain firsthand experience in a high growth tech startup

  • An entrepreneurial mindset: you are self-driven, organized, proactive with a hands-on approach, and capable of thriving in a fast paced, agile environment

  • A keen ability to break down complex issues, reduce them to essential components, and communicate them effectively without losing sight of the user needs

  • An ability to successfully execute on ideas, bringing concepts to life in a timely fashion

  • Strong communication skills and a desire to interact with business and technical stakeholders

  • An analytical mindset with ability to gather insights from data to be used to drive decision making and task prioritization

  • Previous experience in product management and / or knowledge of software development cycles in a startup environment is a plus

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
