The annual review process is designed to ensure fair and transparent salary and career progression by recognizing individual performance and impact. It follows a multi-stage approach to bring together multiple perspectives to support objective and balanced outcomes. Each review begins with collecting a self-assessment, multiple peer feedbacks and an initial evaluation from the direct manager. These insights are combined and then reviewed and calibrated in a panel to maintain consistency and fairness across teams and departments. This structured and collaborative process helps us make thoughtful decisions about growth, development and compensation.
Multi-dimensional Fairness
We believe fairness has many dimensions. To ensure fair and balanced decisions, we follow the four-eyes principle — several reviewers assess calibration results and decide on salary increases within the allocated budget. Our review process is transparent, and everyone has the opportunity to raise concerns or challenge their rating.
Data-Driven Benchmarking
We analyze employee salaries against market data using a reliable tool that collects real-time salary data from European companies. This data is filtered for relevant industry sectors, company stages, locations, and functions to ensure our salary bands are competitive and compensation decisions are well-informed.

Salary Calculation
Following the performance calibration process, each employee's results are assessed based on both achievement and demonstrated behaviours aligned with our values. Salary adjustments are then determined according to overall performance, with additional increases applied in the case of promotions. We also review each employee's position within their salary band to ensure fair and competitive compensation across the organisation.
Offer Calculation
Our interview process typically involves 3–5 stages, during which you’ll spend few hours meeting and engaging with future colleagues. Throughout these conversations, we aim to get to know you across various skill areas and learn more about your relevant experience. Based on these discussions, we evaluate your seniority and role level in line with market standards and our internal compensation structure. This helps us ensure that the offer we extend is fair and competitive, which we’ll then discuss with you in detail during the offer call.
Recognition Beyond Salary
For top talents, we're evolving our approach to recognition beyond base salary. Certain roles—especially in Sales and Business—include performance-based bonuses, while employees who consistently deliver exceptional results may also receive long-term incentives such as company shares (as VSOPs). This ensures that outstanding individual impact and seniority are rewarded in a way that truly reflects their contribution to Holidu's success.
