4. Hidden Gem Tulum: Gitano

There are so many good restaurants, cafes and bars in Tulum, it is hard to decide where to go first. But Gitano should definitely be on your list. A fluorescent pink sign marks its entrance and a huge, sparkling disco ball hangs from the trees inside. You already know that you are entering a great place! Gitano is a mixture of restaurant, mezcal bar and a dance floor. Bulb lights hang from the trees and small white candles cover nearly every table, which creates a romantic and cozy setting. Simply enjoy the open-air, retro-inspired lounge in the jungle with good food and drinks.
