If you fancy a great, air-conditioned restaurant after testing tons of food markets in Bangkok, this is a lovely place to go for delicious food. It is located in a repurposed industrial warehouse. The interior features concrete walls, aged red brick, vintage lamps, teak wood furniture and hanging plants. The dishes are inspired by traditional Thai cuisine but also have a slight European touch. Even traditional and simple dishes like the cashew chicken taste like heaven. The easiest way to get here is to take a taxi to “the jam factory”. This spot is not located in the city center, but if you have a longer stay in Bangkok and want to explore beyond just the typical tourist spots, then come here! Located in the Yannawa district, the Hookrajong Café is a small, special cafe which is housed in a stylish glass building. The name of the café comes from the trees in the garden but, as it is quite hot outside, most people prefer to enjoy their cake and drinks inside. Make sure to order their matcha specials! They are famous for their “Spring Coffee” which is frozen matcha in leaf-shaped ice with warm milk and hot coffee.
