In the extreme south of the country stretches the seaside resort between Cascais and Lisbon in the Lisboa region. In the heart of the town is the Casino Estoril, which has attracted many visitors since 1931. In addition, the tasteful restaurant served as the backdrop for the James Bond 007 movie. The casino is the largest in Europe and has around 1,000 slot machines and 200 gaming tables. Part of the building is used for events and the art gallery.

In a former palace dating back to 1918, there is a music museum dedicated to the Portuguese musical heritage. The exhibition presents a comprehensive music library, informs about the history of important musicians and shows historical folk instruments. In addition to the permanent exhibition, there are regular events inviting visitors to participate in creative interactions.

After two kilometres you reach the port of Cascais, where daily unforgettable boat trips start. With a maximum of twelve passengers, you board a speedboat and head for the natural habitat of wild dolphins. They experience the mammals up close and learn interesting facts about their lives and behaviour.
