Your future team

You will be part of the Business Intelligence department, which consists of the Data Science, Data Analytics, and Data Engineering teams. This internship provides a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both Data Analytics and Data Science. You will work alongside a team of highly skilled and dedicated Data Scientists and Analysts who are committed to offering strong mentorship and guidance to help you start your career in the field of data.

Internship Duration: 6 months
Location: Munich

Database: AWS Stack (Redshift, Athena, Glue, S3).
Data Pipelines: Airflow, DBT.
Data Visualization: Looker.
Data Analytics: SQL, Python.
Collaboration: Git, Atlassian.

Your role in this journey

As a Data Science and analytics Intern at Holidu, you will gain hands-on experience collaborating with different stakeholders, building data pipelines, creating visualizations, building ML models, and performing ad hoc analysis to help the organization make data-driven decisions. You will receive strong mentorship from our experienced analysts and start your career in the data field working for a digital native scale-up.

Assisting in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to solve business problems.
Supporting the creation of dashboards and reports using tools such as SQL, Python, or Looker.
Conducting research to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights to improve business performance.
Collaborating with different teams (e.g., product, marketing, finance) for ad-hoc analysis.
Learning to clean and preprocess data for analysis while ensuring data quality and consistency.
Solve business use cases with Machine Learning or Statistical models, put them in production, and constantly monitor the model performance with production data.

Your backpack is filled with

Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or similar).
Understanding of SQL and Python.
Knowledge of Machine Learning and Statistical models is a plus.
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and a desire to learn visualization tools like Looker.
Strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Curiosity to learn and a passion for solving data problems.
Good communication and presentation skills.
