1. Hidden Gem Nice: Cours Saleya Market

This market is located at the heart of the Old Town in Nice and it’s always pulsating with life. Cours Saleya hosts four different markets. The most well known is the “Marché aux Fleurs”. It’s actually a combination of a flower market and a fruit and vegetable market. The market is held every day, from 6 am to 5.30 pm except Mondays, Sunday afternoons and public holidays. Just stroll round, do a little bit of shopping and inhale the wonderful flower fragrances.

2. Hidden Gem Nice: Musée d´art moderne

The building of the museum is a sight in itself, a very original structure with 4 square towers, rooftop terraces and glass passageways between the sundry sections of the building. The permanent collections of the museum consist of works by top pop art and new realism artists like Andy Warhol and Sol Lewitt. The entrance fee is about 10 € per person.

3. Hidden Gem Nice: Le Plongeoir Restaurant

Located at one of Nice’s iconic sites overlooking the sea, the restaurant welcomes you in to an unusual setting steeped in history. Marc Dussoullier fell in love with the diving platform many years ago, and wanted to restore it. Nowadays you can get Mediterranean cuisine that combines tradition and modernity at this unusual little spot. Just come here for a sundowner and enjoy the view! Le Plongeoir is open everyday!

4. Hidden Gem Nice: Paper Plane Café

This is a great place if you search for vegan options in Nice or just want to enjoy a healthy breakfast or lunch. The range goes from acai bowl to smashed avocado toast. Because of the cozy interior with hanging plants and wooden lamps you could stay here all day long. Try the juice of the day and get your daily dose of vitamins here 🙂
