Team information

As Head of Business Development you will be part of Holidu’s Management Team and report to the CEO. You will lead our global business development team - currently a team of 6 international FTEs plus one intern - which assumes responsibility for our global vacation rental coverage in terms of property selection, best prices and quality. Adding new high-quality vacation rentals in high demand destinations, as well as optimizing our existing partnerships and inventory is a fundamental growth driver of our business.

Your role in this journey

  • Take over responsibility for our global supply, building the world’s largest vacation rental selection with rentals listed with their best price on Holidu. Targets will be based on partner growth, liquidity, revenues and supply diversity.
  • Grow our global inventory with a focus on adding high quality, instantly bookable inventory in high demand focus areas.
  • Take over direct responsibility for our top partners in order to leverage growth and optimization opportunities with them.
  • Continue to build our business development operations around sales and account management, which includes lead management, supply-side marketing, partner segmentation, partner service, etc.
  • Continue to build, coach and lead our business development team to world-class results, with a strong focus on sales efficiency.
  • Work very closely with our technical connectivity and supply platform team and be a stakeholder in the development of our technical supply platform, which facilitates a fast partner onboarding and strong partner management.
  • As part of the management team, be involved in strategic decisions, shaping the way we run the business, contributing to our overall growth and success.

Your backpack is filled with

  • A successful track record as a team leader in sales, account management, consulting or similar.
  • Experience in recruiting and leading high-caliber talent to world-class results.
  • A keen ability to mentor, coach, and motivate team members.
  • A strong analytical and data-driven mindset to continuously optimize our approach towards inventory acquisition and our inventory itself.
  • A sales-minded personality with strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • A hungry but humble personality, setting ambitious targets while always trying to improve.
  • A strong understanding of technology and product development processes is a plus, as you will be working very closely with our connectivity team.
  • A degree in management, economics, IT, physics, tourism, or related fields.
  • Fluent English skills, further language skills are a plus.
