Our founding story
Johannes Siebers & Michael Siebers, Founders of Holidu
Holidu was founded in 2014 after brothers Johannes and Michael Siebers experienced first-hand how difficult it was to book a vacation apartment for a surfing holiday in Portugal. Identical homes appeared across multiple platforms with different prices and availability, making comparison and trust difficult.
They recognized that this lack of transparency affected both guests and hosts - leading to uncertainty, overpayments, and overbookings.
Driven by the idea of bringing clarity and confidence to vacation rentals, they founded Holidu. Today, Holidu supports millions of guests and tens of thousands of hosts worldwide with a trusted platform and software solutions designed to increase bookings with less effort.
