Kahe Point Beach Park is known for its ultra-clear, calm waters, which lend to its reputation for being the best snorkeling beach in Oahu. Here you’ll see sea turtles, tons of colorful fish, eels, and sometimes dolphins if you’re lucky. You can spend several hours snorkeling here and discovering the different reefs and fish species. Snorkeling here may not be suitable for children or beginners because the entry point is a bit challenging and the water is quite deep.

For one of the best sea turtle viewing experiences on the island, head to Paradise Cove Beach. Be sure to bring your snorkel gear, and then head into the calm waters. There is a plethora of sea turtles, seals, and marine life here, and you can spend a few hours exploring the whole cove area and swimming alongside the sea turtles. Just remember to respect the wildlife and state laws, it’s ok to look but don’t ever touch the sea turtles!
