Your future team

You will be part of the search department as part of the product management team and you will lead a multi-functional squad of developers, designers and QA managers. You will report to our team lead for product management search and you will collaborate closely with other product teams with the goal of improving the user experience for millions of users. Thereby improving the conversion rate and having a significant impact on our business.

Our Tech Stack

  • We are writing the Search Engine and other applications with a micro-service approach, using  Java 11, with Spring Boot, running on Kubernetes.
  • Data storage with Elasticsearch 7, PostgreSQL, Kafka, MongoDB, Redis.
  • Data usage via Kibana, Redshift and Tableau.
  • Monitoring with ELK, Grafana and internally developed technologies.
  • User Research via UserTesting and Logrocket.
  • Internally developed AB testing tools to understand and manage every change.
  • Project management with JIRA and Github amongst others.

Your role in this journey

  • Conceptualizing new features, develop them with your engineering team, and bring them live.
  • Being the interface between the customer and your engineering team to ensure our search engine performs to the fullest according to our users´ needs.
  • Effectively translating business strategies into product strategies, roadmaps, and product specifications.
  • Gathering requirements and ideation for wireframe preparation.
  • Define the KPIs that measure the success of your work and analyze data to ensure the impact and results of new product features.
  • Managing all stakeholders of the development process.

Your backpack is filled with

  • A university degree in economic computer science, computer science, business administration or related fields.
  • 1 year plus in product management of consumer-facing products.
  • An in-depth knowledge about the software development cycle preferably in start-up environment.
  • An analytical mindset and ability to gather insights and use them for decision-making.
  • Combination of market understanding, intuition for customer needs, and technical knowledge.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and ensure they are completed according to schedule.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities necessary to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Impeccable communication skills.
