Just a short walk from the water (2 min, NOT LAKEFRONT). Crystal lake is 5.3 miles. There is an access site you can anchor a boat at for the day (anchor, no dock or land, but you can anchor in the water and walk back to the cottage), the beach is 1/2 mile away, and raceway is 1 mile away. Lg. double lot is shared with the Seahorse Cottage. Camper is on the 2ND lot and they share a firepit. If you have a ranger or golf cart with orv stickers they are legal. Also we don't mind if you gather dry dead wood material in our little forest. Yes you can bring your pistol/gun. I'll set up a few targets in our 7 acre forest. We charge $10-15 for target setup fee. Yes you can shoot wildlife, but Michigan requires a permit and tags, even if it's on my private property. Your more than welcome to bring your pets
