    The area and getting around

Disney World's location is not as we thought

For years we have believed that the Disney World resort was located in the city of Orlando, didn't you believe that? But sadly, we were wrong, as it is located between southwest Orange County and southern Osceola County; one of the most striking features is that it is all considered Walt Disney World Resort property, all self-contained land. In addition to the resort itself, there are 28 hotels and resorts owned by the Walt Disney Parks Company and six other hotels owned by other companies in the area.

Let's talk a bit about the structure of Disney World

We are all very familiar with the Disney World complex and the four theme parks that are part of it. However, this complex is much bigger than just the famous parks. It also has two water parks, six golf courses, a complex dedicated to sports activities, two other shopping centres, the hotels we have mentioned before, not to mention the rest of the shops and restaurants where you will be able to acquire the most delicious dishes in the best Disney World style and attention. Walking through all this extension is a must on your visit to this fantasy of our childhood.

    Travelers and activities

    Disney World for amusement lovers

If you are one of those who enjoy great shows, in Disney World you will find a lot of them. Among them, the Festival of the Lion King, a show presented totally live with the majestic magic of Disney, is fascinating and fun, so be attentive from beginning to end! On the other hand, at the House of Blues, you can spend a great time with your family listening to live Blues and Rock music while enjoying good food and drinks. Besides, you can go to The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, a western-style show, where you can eat chicken, ribs, desserts, among others. You can also enjoy Disney's Spirit of Aloha Show and the Jellyrolls, among many others.

Disney World for water park lovers

Disney World gives you the unique experiences, and its Discovery Cove water amusement park will not disappoint you. Here, you can swim with dolphins, rays, otters and all kinds of fish; one of the activities that stands out the most is scuba diving where you can go with your family to see the corals and fish at the bottom of the water, as well as snorkeling, seeing other types of aquatic animal species with the care of the park staff; don't forget to try the food from the nearby shops, order the dish of the day or whatever is more fun for your children, and they can return as soon as possible to the fun.
