Brand is a community of about 700 inhabitants in the southwest of Vorarlberg, more precisely in the district of Bludenz. The mountain village lies at an altitude of 1,037 metres in the so-called Brandnertal, one of the most beautiful high mountain valleys in the Eastern Alps.
