Online Check-in - How to Connect to Alloggiati Web
In Italy, all accommodation providers must report guest information to the local police within 24 hours of arrival. Holidu's online check-in feature, integrated with Alloggiati Web, helps you meet these legal requirements efficiently and automatically.
Understanding Italian Guest Registration Requirements
Article 109 of the Consolidated Law on Public Security requires all accommodation providers, including holiday rental hosts, to report guest details electronically via the Alloggiati Web portal managed by the Italian State Police.
Legal Requirements Overview
- Guest information must be reported within 24 hours of arrival
- For stays shorter than 24 hours, details must be submitted upon arrival
- Only the main guest must provide identification document type and number
- Additional guests must provide basic personal information only (full name, date of birth, nationality)
- Failure to comply may result in penalties, including fines or imprisonment
Information Required for Main Guest
The following details must be collected and reported for the main guest:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Nationality
- Passport or ID number
- Date of arrival
- Place of birth
How Holidu Supports Guest Check-in Compliance
Holidu's integrated guest check-in feature streamlines the legal reporting process by automating data collection and simplifying submission to authorities. The system:
- Automates guest data collection through a pre-arrival check-in link
- Simplifies reporting to Alloggiati Web with automatic data transfer
- Notifies you of any missing mandatory information
- Helps reduce the risk of non-compliance penalties
Note: While Holidu automates data collection and transfer, you must manually upload guest details via the Alloggiati Web portal to complete the compliance process.

Data Transmission and Timing
Once connected, Holidu automatically transmits guest data to Alloggiati Web according to the following schedule:
- For one-night stays: Data is transmitted at 11:00 PM on the check-in date
- For stays of two or more nights: Data is transmitted at 11:00 PM on the day after check-in
Guest Information and Documentation
What Information is Collected
Through Holidu's online check-in link, guests provide their required personal information before arrival. This streamlines the verification process and ensures you have all necessary details for legal compliance.
Document Verification Requirements
In compliance with Italian law, you are required to verify guest identification in person at check-in:
- Only one guest per booking must provide their ID document type and number
- Other guests must provide basic personal details but document numbers are not required
- Your guestbook will display complete document information for only one guest per booking
Accessing Your Guestbook
You can download guestbooks for your records at any time through the Holidu platform. These records help maintain compliance documentation and provide proof of guest verification.
