When and How Is the Onboarding Fee Charged?

The onboarding fee covers the essential steps to get your property listed on the Holidu platform and set up the tools you need to manage bookings effectively. This process is customized to your local market, helping you understand how to use Holidu and ensuring your property is ready to welcome guests.

How the Onboarding Fee Works

The onboarding fee is deducted from the payout of your first booking. Here are the key details:

  • The fee is charged at the property level, meaning it applies even if the booking is canceled
  • If you have multiple properties, the fee is charged for each property separately
  • The amount is deducted before we send you your payout
  • A separate invoice for the onboarding fee is created and available in your Invoices section

What Happens If Your Booking Is Canceled

Holidu operates on a balance concept for cancellations. If a booking with an already processed payout gets canceled, you don't need to refund us. Instead, we deduct the onboarding fee amount from your next booking. The onboarding fee remains in place until we successfully deduct it from another booking.
