Previously, modification requests from guests on Airbnb or Booking.com required additional intermediary steps. Now, you can manage these requests seamlessly within your Holidu account.

Handling booking modifications directly in your Holidu account offers several key advantages:

How Does the Booking Modification Process Work?
Step 1: Receive Notification of Modification Requests
When a guest requests a booking modification, you'll be notified immediately through multiple channels:
- Email notification
- Holidu app push notification (ensure push notifications are enabled in your app settings)

Step 2: Review Requests in Your Account
Modification requests appear in two locations within your Holidu account:
- Your home page dashboard
- Your booking overview section

Step 3: Review Key Modification Details
Before making a decision, carefully review the following information provided with each request:
- Duration changes (shorter or longer stay)
- Guest count adjustments (additional or fewer guests)
- Date modifications (check-in and check-out date changes)
- Updated earnings based on the proposed modification
Step 4: Make Your Decision
Once you've reviewed the modification details, you can respond with just one click:
- Accept the modification: Approve the guest's requested changes
- Decline the modification: Reject the guest's requested changes

Step 5: Automatic Guest Notification and Booking Updates
Once you submit your decision, the process completes automatically:
- The guest receives immediate notification of your decision
- Updated booking details are shared with the guest automatically
- Your calendar updates in real-time to reflect the modification
Important Note: Price Modifications
If you wish to accept a modification but with a different price than originally proposed, please contact the Holidu Customer Support team. Your request will be handled individually to ensure proper pricing adjustment.
Where Is This Feature Available?
The Booking Modification feature is currently available for the following listing channels:
- Airbnb
- Booking.com
These channels were prioritized as they generate the highest volume of booking modification requests from guests.
Gradual Rollout Information
As we continue rolling out this feature, some modification requests may still follow the previous process and be handled through our Customer Support team. This gradual approach allows us to ensure smooth implementation and maintain high service quality.
