Spain has the wickedest nightlife in Europe. On those endless summer evenings, in which the warm air caresses your body as you roam the streets packed full of fellow partygoers, you can drink and dance to your heart’s content right up until sunrise, and sometimes even beyond. The only question is, can you keep up with the locals?! Ibiza is the best-known nightlife spot in Spain, with its mammoth world-renowned clubs and the world’s best DJs!

Spain is ringed by mountains that stretch 4,000 meters into the sky, with the deliciously lush green pastures of Cantabria and Asturias being the undoubted highlight. A land that time apparently forgot, hike through misty valleys to the sonance of cow bells and the calls of local farmers. Drink from some of the purest stream water in Europe, and when the clouds clear, be rewarded with views over the glistening Bay of Biscay and rugged snow peaks of the nearby Picos de Europa.

The whitewashed village of Andalusia, replete with lively winding streets adorned with colorful flowers are the epitome of charm. 45 minutes from Malaga, Comares is the apotheosis of the southern Spain pueblo blanco and a must-see.

The Canaries are a microcosm of Spain; wonderfully diverse, with something altogether new to find on each island. Hope from the moon-scapes of Lanzarote to the vast canyons of Gran Canaria, the pristine beaches of La Gomera and the pumping resorts of Tenerife!

La Liga is the top football league in the world, with its biggest two teams and the best player of all time, Messi. Even if you are not a huge football fan, it’s well worth taking in a La Liga match in Barcelona, Madrid, Bilbao or Sevilla simply to experience the sense of occasion and passionate atmosphere.

In the Granada region of Andalusia it is customary to receive a free and delicious tapa with every drink. The city of Granada does this better than anywhere else, and on a 5-drink bar crawl you will be given so much food that you won’t even need to buy dinner!
