Every first Sunday in June there is the Dia del Pescador (Fishermen's Day), a fun entertainment programme on the beach. Furthermore, on the 29th of June the whole city comes to life at the feast of the patron saint, where St. Peter is honoured. Concerts and handicrafts are held throughout the city. The highlight of this festival is the big fireworks in the evening.
