How to Add a Manual Calendar Block

Follow these steps to add a manual calendar block to your availability:

  1. Log into your Holidu Host account and enter your credentials.
  2. Navigate to the Calendar section located at the top of your dashboard.
  3. In the Availability area on the right side, click the Block button.
  4. Choose your block type:
    • Manual Booking for personal stays or maintenance
    • Date Block to simply block dates without additional details
  5. Select your dates by clicking the start date, then clicking the end date you want to block.
  6. Click Confirm dates on the right side to proceed.
  7. Fill in any required information in the pop-up form that appears.
  8. Click Save to apply the changes to your calendar.

Your calendar will update immediately, and those dates will no longer be available for guest bookings.

How to Delete a Manual Calendar Block

To remove a manual calendar block and make those dates available again, follow these steps:

  1. Access your Holidu Host account and navigate to the Calendar section.
  2. Find the specific blocked dates you want to remove and click on them.
  3. Select Remove Block from the menu that appears.
  4. Confirm your action if prompted to finalize the deletion.
  5. Ensure you save the changes so your calendar is updated.

Once deleted, the blocked dates will return to your regular availability calendar.

  • Price Control Option: If you want additional control over when bookings are accepted, consider opting out of any copy price campaigns and setting prices only for periods you wish to accept bookings.
  • Regular Updates: Make it a habit to review your calendar blocks regularly, especially during peak seasons or when you have planned maintenance.
