Your Direct Booking Website lets you accept bookings under your own brand, with calendar sync, secure payments, and guest data managed from your Holidu account. To create it, activate the channel in your Holidu Host account, complete the setup wizard, and then personalize the homepage, host section, and design.

Step-by-Step: Creating Your Booking Website

Step 1: Access your Direct Booking Website

You can reach your Direct Booking Website setup from either of these places in your Holidu account. Both lead to the same configuration, so use whichever you find first.

• Direct Bookings, then My website & widget, in the left-hand navigation menu
• Properties, then select your property, then Distribution Channels, then My booking website. Click Activate channel if the channel is not yet active, or My booking website configuration if it is already active.

Note: This feature is available to primary account holders only, not to secondary collaborators.

Step 2: Set up your Direct Booking Website

1. Log in to your Holidu Host account.
2. In the left menu, select Configuration and scroll down to Distribution Channels.
3. Find My Booking Website and click Activate channel.
4. Follow the onboarding prompts. Review and accept the terms and conditions.

When you first open the setup wizard, choose Create a new website. This builds a complete Holidu-hosted booking website from scratch.

Step 3: Select your website languages

Choose the languages for your website. You can select up to 8 supported languages. Then choose the default language that visitors see first.

Step 4: Enter your website name and domain

Enter your website name and your domain name. Your domain name is the first part of your web address, and you can choose it yourself. Most hosts use their property name, for example "myproperty".

Your web address has two parts that are combined:

• Subdomain name: a name you choose, such as your property name.
• Subdomain ending: an ending you pick from a list. Holidu offers general endings, such as holiduhost.com, and country-specific endings, such as ferienwohnungen.de.

Together, these form a link such as myproperty.holiduhost.com. Your guests use this link to find and book with you.

Tip: Choose an ending that matches the country of most of your guests. For example, a German ending can make your site feel more familiar to German guests.

Note: If you already own a domain, the setup instructions guide you through connecting it so your brand stays consistent.

Step 5: Choose your properties and publish

1. If you have more than one property, choose which properties to display on your website and set their order.
2. Click Finish to publish your booking website.

Your website is now online. Your personalized URL can be copied and shared right away.

Customizable Features

After your website is live, you can personalize the following features at any time:

• Logo: appears on your booking website.
• Title: displayed over the header image.
• Welcome text: displayed beneath the main header image.
• Header image: the main image on your booking website. Keep it under 8 MB.
• Property images and text: each property starts with default images and text, which you can replace. The description comes from your existing property description.
• Social media links: turn on the social media toggle and add the link to each account.
