How to activate or deactivate Holidu Protect

Holidu Protect offers comprehensive coverage for your holiday property, and you have complete control over when to activate or deactivate it. You can manage Holidu Protect individually for each of your properties directly from your Holidu Host account.

How to activate Holidu Protect

Follow these simple steps to enable Holidu Protect for your property:

Step 1: Access your property configuration

Log in to your Holidu Host account and navigate to the property configuration of the holiday home you want to protect.

Step 2: Navigate to Pricing & Protection

In the property settings, click on Pricing & Protection and then select Configure in the section labeled "Protect your Property".

Step 3: Review and accept terms

Carefully read through the information about Holidu Protect and its benefits. Once you understand the coverage and terms, accept the Terms & Conditions to proceed.

Step 4: Activate Holidu Protect

Click on the Activate Holidu Protect button. You will receive a confirmation message indicating that Holidu Protect has been successfully activated for your property.

What happens after activation

Once you confirm the activation, Holidu Protect becomes immediately active for all future bookings at that property. Please note that if you currently have security deposits in place, they will be automatically deactivated when you activate Holidu Protect.

How to deactivate Holidu Protect

If you need to disable Holidu Protect for any reason, follow the same steps above (Log in → Pricing & Protection → Configure) and select the option to deactivate. This gives you complete flexibility to manage your protection settings at any time.
