How to activate Holidu Protect
Follow these simple steps to enable Holidu Protect for your holiday home:
Step 1: Access property settings
Log in to your Holidu Host account and navigate to the property configuration of the holiday home you want to protect.
Step 2: Open Pricing & Protection settings
In the property settings, click on Pricing & Protection. Then click configure in the section labeled "Protect your Property".
Step 3: Review and accept terms
Read through the information provided about Holidu Protect. Review the Terms & Conditions carefully, then accept them to proceed.
Step 4: Activate Holidu Protect
Click the Activate Holidu Protect button. You will receive a confirmation message indicating that Holidu Protect has been successfully activated.
What happens after activation
Once you activate Holidu Protect, it becomes immediately active for all future bookings at that property. The protection is automatically applied to new reservations going forward.
Important note: If you have security deposits already in place on your property, they will be deactivated when you activate Holidu Protect. This is because Holidu Protect provides comprehensive coverage that replaces the need for traditional security deposits.
How to deactivate Holidu Protect
You have full flexibility with Holidu Protect. If you decide you want to deactivate it, you can do so at any time by following the same steps above and selecting the deactivation option instead. Simply return to the Pricing & Protection settings and choose to deactivate the service.
