How can I add arrival instructions?
Providing clear arrival instructions ensures that your guests have a smooth check-in experience. You can set up and update the Arrival Information in your Holidu account by following these steps.
Step-by-step guide to add arrival instructions
- Log in to your Holidu Hosts account and select your property.
- In the left-hand menu, click on Configuration.
- Scroll down and select Arrival Information.
- In the Contact Information section, click Edit to update the details of the person responsible for check-in (name, phone number, and email).
- In the Arrival Information section, click Edit to add or update details such as key collection information, directions to the property, and any other special check-in instructions.
Improve your instructions with AI
After editing your arrival instructions, you'll see an "Improve with AI" button. This tool rewrites your check-in instructions into a clear, structured format that guests will find easy to follow. Your improved instructions are automatically sent in guest confirmation emails.
Once you save, use the Language Selector to translate your instructions into all supported languages. Guests will automatically receive the version in their preferred language.

- The information you add in the Arrival Information section is automatically sent to your guests after they confirm a booking.
- Guests receive instructions in their preferred language when available.
- If you update arrival details after bookings have been made, you must personally inform those guests about the changes.
Clear and well-organized arrival instructions help prevent check-in delays and reduce guest inquiries. Take time to include all relevant details such as parking information, gate codes, Wi-Fi passwords, and any house rules related to arrival.
