How do I create a new property listing?

Creating a new property listing on Holidu is quick and straightforward. Follow these steps to get your property online and start attracting guests.

Step 1: Log In to Your Account

Start by logging into your Holidu account. Once logged in, click on "Properties" to begin the listing process.

Step 2: Add a New Property

Look for the "+ Add Property" button in the top left corner on desktop, or the "+ Add" button in the bottom right corner on the mobile app. Click it to start setting up your new listing.

Step 3: Choose Your Property Structure

Select whether your property is a single structure (one dwelling unit) or a multi-unit property (several units at the same address). This helps us categorize your listing correctly.

Step 4: Import Existing Listing Information

We'll ask if your property is already listed on another booking platform like Booking.com or Airbnb. If yes, you can import your listing information directly to Holidu, which speeds up the configuration process.

Step 5: Enter Basic Property Details

Provide the following information:

• Property Name: Create a clear, descriptive name that helps potential guests understand what they're booking
• Property Type: Select from options such as finca, apartment, chalet, vacation home, villa, or hotel-apartment
• Guest Capacity: Specify the maximum number of guests your property can accommodate. Note: You cannot set a minimum guest requirement

Important: Hotel rooms and rentals where you reside in the same property during a guest's stay cannot be listed on Holidu.

Step 6: Add Your Property Location

Enter your property's full address and use the map tool to pin the exact location. Accurate location information helps guests find and trust your listing.

Step 7: Provide Host Email (Property Managers Only)

If you're managing the property through a property manager account, enter the email address associated with the host account.

What Happens Next?

Once you've completed these steps, your property is created with its basic information. You'll then need to fully configure it by adding photos, detailed descriptions, pricing, and house rules before clicking "Request Publication."

After you request publication, your Account Manager will contact you to finalize all remaining details and publish your listing on Holidu's distribution channels.
