How do I verify my account as an incorporated partnership (GbR or Grundstücksgemeinschaften)?
Important: This process can only be completed by the host (the primary holder on Holidu).
We'll guide you step by step through the verification process for your incorporated partnership. The process is secure, and you'll provide your information in a protected online environment.
Understanding: Incorporated vs. Unincorporated Partnerships
⚠️ Important: Know the difference
An incorporated partnership IS registered in a trade/commercial register and IS a separate legal entity. Examples include:
- Germany: GbR (Gesellschaft bürgerlichen Rechts), Grundstücksgemeinschaft, KG, OHG, GmbH & Co. KG
- France: SARL, EIRL, EURL
- Spain: SL, Asociación Civil
- Other countries: Limited companies, registered associations
An unincorporated partnership is NOT registered in a trade/commercial register and is NOT a separate legal entity. Partners are personally liable.
Rule of thumb: If your partnership has a Handelsregisternummer (DE), is in the Registre du commerce (FR), or is listed in any official commercial register → you are an Incorporated Partnership and should follow this guide.
Supported Countries for Incorporated Partnerships
The "Incorporated Partnership" entity type is available for hosts in most European countries, including:
- Germany (GbR, Grundstücksgemeinschaft)
- France
- Spain
- Austria
- Italy

Frequently Asked Questions
What if my partnership is very new and not yet in the commercial register?
All incorporated partnerships must be registered in the official commercial register of their country. If your partnership is not yet registered, you cannot use the Incorporated Partnership account type. Please contact the appropriate authority in your country to complete your registration first, then return to complete verification with Holidu.
What if I don't have all the documents?
You must provide official documents from your country's commercial register to verify your incorporated partnership status. If you're missing documents, contact your Chamber of Commerce or local business registry for certified copies. Our team can also help guide you – use the Holidu Assistant to reach out.
Can I use documents in my language?
Yes. Official documents in your country's language are acceptable. However, if documents contain specific legal terms, ensure they clearly show the partnership name, registration number, and legal structure. If there's any ambiguity, our verification team may request clarification.
How long does verification take?
If you use Instant Verification for both identity and payout, verification is immediate. If you use manual uploads, the process typically takes 5-7 business days, but can take up to two weeks in some cases. We'll update you via email on your account's verification status.
What happens if verification is rejected?
If documents are rejected, our team will contact you with specific details about what's missing or needs correction. Common reasons include unclear documents, mismatched information across documents, or outdated trade register extracts. We'll guide you on how to resubmit.
Can I change my partnership details after verification?
If your partnership details change (name, address, representatives, or structure), you must update your Holidu account and may need to reverify. Contact our support team via the Holidu Assistant to report significant changes.
What if I'm an unincorporated partnership instead?
If your partnership is NOT registered in a commercial register, you should follow the guide for unincorporated partnerships. Check your country's rules to determine your status, or contact our support team for guidance.
