How do I change my bank details?
Managing your bank details on Holidu is straightforward, but the process depends on whether your account has been verified by Adyen. Follow the guide below for your account type.
Changing Bank Details for Non-Verified Accounts
If your account has not yet gone through Adyen's bank account verification process, your bank details may not have been collected yet. In this case, you will not be able to add or update your IBAN until you complete the verification process.
Next step: Begin the Adyen bank account verification process to add or modify your bank details. You can learn more about this in our How do I verify my Account as a Private Host or How do I verify my Account as a company guides.
Changing Bank Details for Verified Accounts
If your account has already been verified by Adyen, you can update your bank details at any time by following these steps:
- Log in to your Holidu account
- Click on the Holidu Logo in the top right corner
- Select "Account"
- Scroll down to the "Bank information" section
- Click on "Edit"
A new window will open connected to Adyen. You will see your bank details tab where you can:
- Click on the right-hand side to access your current IBAN
- Delete the current IBAN number
- Enter your new IBAN number
Important: The bank account holder name must match the Holidu account owner. For company accounts, the bank account name must match the company name registered in your Holidu account.
Choose Your Verification Method
Instant Verification (not available in Greece, Austria & Italy):
- Search and select your online banking provider
- Log in to your online banking account through our verified partner, Tink
- Your banking credentials are not stored—they are used only to verify your account for security purposes
Manual Verification:
- Enter your details and upload a bank document as proof
- The document must be issued within the last 12 months and clearly display your name and IBAN
- Non-EU residents must also ensure the bank location is visible on the document
- Verification may take up to 72 hours after submission
Important Information
- IBAN (International Bank Account Number): An IBAN is used worldwide to identify individual bank accounts. You can find your IBAN in your online banking portal or on your account statements.
- Account ownership: The new bank account must belong to the Holidu account holder. We can only process payments to accounts registered under the name on your agreement with Holidu.
- Company accounts: If your Holidu account is registered as a company, payments can only be made to the company's registered IBAN.
- Document requirements: Any bank documents submitted as proof must be clear, visible, and recent (an official document where both the account holder name and IBAN are clearly visible).
- Currency: Holidu only issues payments to EUR accounts.
- Update timing: If you are changing your IBAN alongside other account details, it may take some time for these updates to appear in your PMS.
