How do I change my bank details?

Changing your bank details on Holidu is straightforward and depends on whether your account has been verified by Adyen. Follow the appropriate steps below for your account status.

Non-Verified Accounts by Adyen

If your account hasn't completed Adyen's bank account verification process yet, you can update your bank details by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Click on the Holidu Logo in the top right corner
  3. Select "Account"
  4. Scroll down to "Bank information"
  5. Click "Edit"

A new window will open where you'll need to provide:

  • Your new IBAN (delete the old one first)
  • The account holder's name
  • Proof of bank account ownership (a document from your bank showing the account holder's name and IBAN)

Important Information for Non-Verified Accounts

  • Your IBAN is an International Bank Account Number used to identify individual accounts worldwide. Find it in your E-Banking platform or account statements.
  • The bank account must belong to the same person or company registered with Holidu.
  • For company accounts, payments can only go to the company's IBAN matching your registered company name.
  • Submit clear, recent bank documents showing both the account holder's name and IBAN.
  • Holidu only processes payments to EUR accounts.
  • Your IBAN won't change automatically—our financial team reviews all requests before approval.

Verified Accounts by Adyen

If your account has completed Adyen's verification process, follow these steps to change your bank details:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Click on the Holidu Logo in the top right corner
  3. Select "Account"
  4. Scroll down to "Bank information"
  5. Click "Edit"

A verification window will open showing your bank details tab. You can now:

  • Click on the right-hand side of your current IBAN
  • Delete the existing IBAN number
  • Enter your new IBAN number

Ensure the bank account holder's name matches your Holidu account owner name (or company name for business accounts).

Choose Your Verification Method

Instant Verification

Not available in Greece, Austria, or Italy.

  • Select your online banking provider from the list
  • Log into your online banking through Tink (verified partner)
  • Your banking credentials are not stored—used only for verification

Manual Verification

  • Upload a bank document issued within the last 12 months
  • The document must clearly show your name and IBAN
  • For non-EU residents, the bank location must be visible
  • Verification typically takes up to 72 hours
