How does the Holidu rating system work?
Guests can rate their overall stay on a scale of 1 to 5, where 1 is the lowest and 5 is the highest. The overall property rating is calculated by averaging all individual scores submitted by guests. You can also leave subscores for specific categories including location, cleanliness, description accuracy, and value for money. Additional comments about your stay or the type of trip (such as family, couple, or solo travel) are welcome and help other guests understand your experience better.
Who can leave a review on Holidu?
Only guests who have booked and completed a stay through Holidu can leave a review. You have the option to submit your review anonymously or with your first name and the first initial of your last name. If you booked through a partner website, their specific review terms and conditions will apply instead of Holidu's guidelines.
How can I edit or delete my review?
To edit or delete a review you have submitted through Holidu, please contact our Customer Service team. They will assist you with any changes you need to make to your review.
What reviews does Holidu display?
Holidu displays reviews from both Holidu guests and trusted partner websites to give you a complete picture of a property. You may see individual reviews with written text and scores, aggregated ratings compiled from multiple guests, and additional reviewer information such as travel party type or country of origin. Reviews are sorted by booking date, whether text is included, and may be filtered by guest type or rating score. For fairness, negative reviews below a certain score are only shown if a property has at least two reviews.
What content is not allowed in reviews?
To maintain the quality and integrity of our review system, reviews cannot contain illegal activity references, politically or religiously sensitive remarks, promotional content or external links, personal details such as emails or phone numbers, profanity, hate speech, threats, or violent content, fake or spam content, impersonation of others, or host-written reviews and incentivized reviews.
What kind of reviews does Holidu encourage?
Holidu encourages honest, travel-related feedback that is relevant and helps other guests make informed decisions. We value original, unbiased content from real guests. Your opinion matters whether positive or negative, as long as it meets our compliance standards and genuinely reflects your stay experience.

Reviews may be automatically translated using DeepL technology. Please note that Holidu and DeepL do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of these translations. While we strive to provide accurate translations, there may be variations in meaning or phrasing from the original review.
