At Holidu, we value your feedback. Your reviews help fellow guests make informed decisions and help us improve the holiday experiences we offer. Here’s everything you need to know about leaving a review on Holidu.
How the Holidu Rating System Works
- Guests can rate their overall stay on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 = lowest, 10 = highest).
- The overall property rating is calculated by averaging all individual scores submitted.
- Guests can also leave subscores for categories such as:
Location, cleanliness, description accuracy and value for money
Additional comments about your stay or type of trip (e.g., family, couple, solo) are also welcome.
Who Can Leave a Review?
- Only guests who booked and completed a stay via Holidu can leave a review.
- Reviews can be submitted anonymously, or with your first name and the first initial of your last name.
- If you booked via a partner website, their review terms and conditions will apply.

What Reviews Do We Display?
We show reviews from both Holidu guests and trusted partner websites to give guests the full picture.
You may see:
- Individual reviews with written text and scores.
- Aggregated ratings compiled from multiple guests.
- Additional reviewer info like travel party type or country of origin.
Reviews are sorted by:
- Date of booking
- Whether text is included
- Other filters like guest type or rating score may be available
For fairness, negative reviews below a certain score are only shown if a property has at least two reviews.
Review Compliance Standards
We want all reviews to be genuine, respectful, and helpful. Your opinion matters—whether positive or negative. However, reviews must meet the following standards:
Not Allowed:
- Illegal activity references
- Politically or religiously sensitive remarks
- Promotional content or external links
- Personal details (e.g. emails, phone numbers, names)
- Profanity, hate speech, threats, or violent content
- Fake or spam content
- Impersonation of others
- Host-written reviews or incentivised reviews

- Original, unbiased content from real guests
