Port des Barques is part of the Marennes-Oléron basin, which produces much of France’s oysters and benefits from exceptional water quality for shellfish farming.
Shore fishing is possible here. The town also has an interesting history and is located in a culturally rich region: Brouage, Rochefort, Saintes, and La Rochelle are nearby. Bed linen and towels are not included in your booking but can be requested as an option.
