The nearest beach, the Strandbad Reichenau, is 17 minutes walk (1.4 km) away, and several supermarkets are 2.8 km or 7 minutes by car from the apartment.
The pretty seaside town of Konstanz is 18 minutes by car (12 km), but you can also get there by bus in 25 minutes; the bus stop is next to the museum, 25 minutes on foot or 2 km from the apartment.
