One of the many lovely features of Edward's Tower is the first floor bedroom which has a superb view across the gardens and swimming pool, to the valley, woods and towards the hamlet of Bourniquel.
The light, bright double aspect bedroom lends an airiness that is welcome in the height of the summer, with built in storage and access to the en-suite bathroom.
The living room and kitchen capture the essence of rural France, again with a distinctive beamed ceiling, Provencal tiled floor, an impressive oak staircase to the bedroom, and French windows leading out to the private veranda.
The oak kitchen has a generous set of Portmeirion Botanic Garden china, perfect for using at the antique wood dining table.
Fine linen and towels are for your use, with all fresh linen supplied per week of stay.
Outdoors
Watch the sunrise from your large private terrace, facing the Pigeonnier swimming Pool and gardens of Domaine de Leygue, or snooze in the shade of the beautiful trees and glades.

Edward's Tower is one of our four unique and private, self catering, high quality cottages, set in glorious Dordogne gardens with two swimming pools.
Chestnut beams and wood ceilings are a constant reminder of the building's heritage as one of the original farm buildings of Domaine de Leygue.
Location & surroundings
Cycle the lanes with bicycles provided, canoe down the River Dordogne, or just swim, sleep and visit our mini gym here at Domaine de Leygue.

Echte Cottage, prima badkamer, heerlijk bed, woonkeuken voor het geval het regent met goed uitgeruste keuken en L'or koffie apparaat (cups). Mooi overdekt terras, zo fijn en gezellig. Daarbij ook nog 2 ligbedden. We hebben het heel goed naar ons zin gehad. We kwamen voor een rustige week, en rust e...

Schitterende locatie en goede uitvalsplek. Wifi was slecht, huisje oké, de veranda met uitzicht en ‘s avonds de reeën op het veld maakten wat binnen minder was goed. Helaas te koud om van de zwembaden gebruik te maken.

Wat een rust op Domaine de Leygue! Bij aankomst werden we vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaren. Er stond een plateau met streekproduct hapjes in de koelkast klaar en een lekker flesje rode wijn uit de regio. De gites was schoon, knus en van alle gemakken voorzien. Helaas deed de vaatwasser het na...
