NewEnjoyable, if very hot, stay in the Loire valley.

Location was excellent, right next to the Loire. Very peaceful in a village that has some amenities. We made use of the tabac/bar where the locals were very friendly. Also an excellent bakery and a cafe on the river (only open Thursday to Sunday and book in advance). Good base to explore local chateaux and vinyards. Host was in regular contact about WiFi difficulties, which were then solved.
Heat in the top bedroom. My daughter ended up sleeping in the lounge. However, the weather was unusually extreme (40C or above for four days) so doubt this would be a usual problem.
