Whether you're a nature lover, a heritage enthusiast, a sports fan, or simply seeking tranquility, this cottage is the ideal place to discover the treasures of the Morvan region and enjoy a pleasant stay on the shores of Lac des Settons, where you can enjoy water sports (paddleboarding, pedal boating, canoeing, swimming, sailing, etc.) and explore the GR13 and GR de Pays long-distance hiking trails.
Outside, an enclosed front garden and a covered rear courtyard allow you to make the most of sunny days.
You'll have access to a griddle, garden furniture, deck chairs, and everything you need to share meals outdoors or relax and enjoy peaceful evenings.
Private parking is available (2 to 3 spaces depending on the vehicle). Inside, a comfortable living area features an open-plan kitchen, a wood-burning stove, Wi-Fi, a TV, and board games.
Two sleeping areas offer comfort and privacy: from the living room on the ground floor, a bedroom with a 160x200 cm bed, a bathroom with a large shower, and a separate toilet.
Upstairs, accessible via a steep staircase, is a bedroom with a 160x200 cm bed and a private bathroom with a shower and toilet.
Upstairs, from the kitchen, is a third bedroom with two 90x200 cm beds overlooking Lake Settons and a desk area. The gîte also provides easy access to the main tourist attractions of our region: the Saut du Gouloux waterfall, Château-Chinon, Autun and its Gallo-Roman heritage, Bibracte and Mont Beuvray, Vézelay and its UNESCO-listed Basilica, not to mention the museums. At nightfall, look up; the Morvan is a recognized International Dark Sky Reserve.
Far from light pollution, the clear nights offer exceptional conditions for stargazing and observing the Milky Way. Options and charges: Towel rental €5/person Baby equipment available on request: travel cot + high chair + potty Heating, firewood, and electricity included (subject to reasonable consumption) Accommodation not equipped for charging an electric vehicle. Included: bed linen with beds made upon arrival, kitchen linen, and end-of-stay cleaning. Optional services to be paid on site and to be booked before your arrival: .
