Maison Gennaro - Naples Heritage Stay was born inside the historic Palazzo D'Alessandro di Pescolanciano, a noble palace located in Via Nardones, in the heart of Bourbon Naples, a few steps from Piazza del Plebiscito and the San Carlo Theater.
The palace, whose origins date back to the 16th century, belonged to the D'Alessandro family, one of the historic aristocratic houses of the Kingdom of Naples, in fact the structure was the home of Tsar Paul I of Russia and residence of the first Russian ambassador to Italy. Over the centuries, the palace has gone through some of the most significant phases of Neapolitan history, hosting personalities linked to the European nobility and experiencing the urban transformations of the city between the viceregal era and the Bourbon period.
Even today, it retains the charm of historic Neapolitan houses, with rooms characterized by original architectural elements, high ceilings and details that tell the aristocratic tradition of the city. Recently renovated, the property has three independent rooms that can be booked individually, designed to offer privacy, comfort and an elegant stay in one of the most authentic and prestigious areas of Naples.
The rooms preserve the warmth and original character of the house thanks to the historic restored parquet, enhanced by a contemporary interior design project enriched by works of art and refined details. Maison Gennaro combines the authentic soul of historic Naples with modern services and well-kept spaces, ideal for both leisure and business stays.
The location allows you to experience the city on foot, among historic alleys, old cafés, boutiques, typical restaurants and some of the symbolic places of Naples, such as Via Toledo, the Lungomare, the Galleria Umberto I and the Maschio Angioino. The property is also perfectly connected to the main public transport: the Toledo stop of Metro Line 1 and the Chiaia stop of Metro Line 6 are easily accessible on foot, offering quick connections to the port, the central station and the main city attractions. Maison Gennaro - Naples Heritage Stay is designed for those who want to live an authentic experience in a real Neapolitan historic home, where history, art and modernity coexist in perfect balance. Breakfast (optional): every morning guests can enjoy breakfast at Bar Monide , in Piazza Trieste and Trento , a few steps from the hotel.
The bar has both an air-conditioned indoor room and a pleasant air-conditioned outdoor gazebo.
The cost is €5.00 per person PER DAY , to be paid upon check-in. Upon check-in, the appropriate tickets will be delivered to be used directly at the bar. December 24 and 31: check-ins will be available until 18.00. City Tax: € 5,50 per person per night to pay at check-in starting from 1 nights for a maximum of 14 nights Extra: BREAKFAST € 5,00 Per person per day (upon request)
