Dunns Cottage sits in the heart of Mumbles, one of Swansea’s most beloved coastal villages.
Mumbles is situated on the Gower, which is celebrated as Britain’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers a welcoming base for families or friends eager to make the most of this lively shoreline setting.
Well-presented throughout, the cottage benefits from a private garden and off-road parking for two to three cars, all just a short stroll from the sweeping promenade that follows the edge of Swansea Bay. Inside, five thoughtfully arranged bedrooms provide flexible sleeping options, with two king-size rooms, a twin, and two singles, including a ground-floor room ideal for those who prefer minimal stairs.
The property is served by two bathrooms, an upstairs suite with a bath and shower over, and a downstairs shower room with a walk-in enclosure, ensuring convenience for all guests.
The living room offers an inviting space to gather, furnished with two large sofas and easy chairs where everyone can come together after days spent discovering the coastline.
A separate dining room with seating for eight sets the scene for long, unhurried mealtimes, while the fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed to prepare favourites for the group.
In warmer weather, the garden becomes an additional social space, complete with outdoor furniture for dining in the fresh seaside air. Shops, restaurants, and a pub sit just around the corner, and a reliable bus service connects you with Swansea and nearby bays.
Mumbles, on the entrance of Gower, itself is known for its boutique shops, waterfront walks, and the atmospheric ruins of Oystermouth Castle.
Swansea adds cultural depth with the National Waterfront Museum, the Glynn Vivian Art Gallery, and the broad stretch of Swansea Beach.
A little farther afield, Llanelli offers standout attractions, including the Millennium Coastal Park, Parc Howard Museum, and the Wetland Centre, where birdwatching and scenic strolls are highlights.
Dunns Cottage provides an appealing base in a sought-after coastal setting, with plentiful ways to enjoy both the village and the wider South Wales shoreline throughout the year.
