14 Old Market Place, a welcoming house nestled in the town of Bonnyrigg in Midlothian.
This abode is suited to families offering some family-friendly facilities, private enclosed garden, Smart TV, and designated parking.
Begin your stay in the heart of the home—the kitchen—where a breakfast bar sits in front of a large window, inviting you to linger over morning coffee while the light pours in. Well-equipped with everything you need for a self-catered break, from a coffee maker to a dishwasher, this space makes cooking feel effortless.
Step through to the living/dining room, where striking purple walls and a corner sofa create a cushy yet stylish setting.
A rug beneath the dining table adds warmth, and patio doors open out to the enclosed garden, perfect for letting little ones play safely while you relax nearby.
Ascend the carpeted stairs to find the sleeping arrangements thoughtfully laid out. A double enjoys its own en-suite walk-in shower room, while a second double features a Juliet balcony for a breath of fresh air. A single room completes the trio, ideal for a child or solo guest.
The family bathroom offers a bath with shower over, basin and WC, and there’s also a cloakroom downstairs with basin and WC, finished with emerald green walls for a touch of flair.
Outside, the private enclosed garden is a lovely spot to unwind, with a lawn and patio area furnished for barbecue dinners, alfresco lunches, or simply soaking up the sun with a good book.
With WiFi, gas central heating, and a Smart TV for entertainment, the property is nicely furnished throughout and ready to welcome you. Just a short stroll from the house, you’ll find a handy shop and friendly pub, ideal for picking up essentials or enjoying a relaxed drink.
A little further afield, Dalkeith offers highlights like the adventure playground and woodland walks of Dalkeith Country Park, the grandeur of Dalkeith Palace, and family-friendly cafés perfect for a treat.
In Newtongrange, delve into Scotland’s industrial past at the National Mining Museum, ride the miniature railway, or enjoy seasonal events that bring the community together.
Edinburgh, just over eight miles away, promises world-class experiences—from climbing Arthur’s Seat for panoramic views, to exploring the historic Royal Mile and marvelling at the crown jewels in Edinburgh Castle.
