The site was historically occupied by a water powered mill and small holding along with its own chapel.

Outside, the garden is a real showstopper with the original old mill pond being the main focal point, there are several waterfalls to enhance the idyllic feel of the extensive outdoor space on offer.
There is a sunken patio area to enjoy the sound and spectacle of the mill race waterfall and it’s magical presence as the river flows under 2 arches as it makes its’ way back to the natural river course.
Boasting a sprawling lawn that’s immaculately maintained, it’s perfect for games, picnics, or simply soaking up the sunshine.
The patio area, furnished for alfresco dining, invites you to savour meals under the open sky.

Old Mill House consists of an open-plan living space with a kitchen with toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, steaming oven, and plate warmer, a dining room with dining seating, a sitting room with TV, and a seperate sitting room with TV. The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size, super-king-size with en-suite, ground-floor double, double, and twin. There is a bathroom with bath, walk-in shower, and basin and WC, shower room with walk-in shower, basin, and heated towel rail and WC, and cloakroom with basin and heated towel rail and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is a large private garden with lawn, patio area, furniture, pond, and stream and off-road parking. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Enjoy a refreshing break with your loved ones at Old Mill House.
