The living areas of this single-storey property are open-plan and include a kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, and full height fridge / freezer, 70/30 split, a dining area for two and a sitting area with a TV and woodburning stove. There is a super-king-size bedroom and a bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Outside there is a rear enclosed garden with furniture and off-road parking for one car with EV charging port. Within 6.4 miles, you will find a shop and within 0.8 miles, a pub, and please note that this is a pet-free and smoke-free property. Fuel, power, bed linen, towels and WiFi included in rent. Blackdown Cottage Escapes at Lower Lye is an historic Grade 2* listed medieval hall house, this property is based on the farmstead on the grounds. The holiday cottages & curtilage are therefore listed by association. The site, because of its age & heritage has many uneven, non-level surfaces. Much of the outside amenity space & paths are cobbled. There is also open water & several streams. Whilst these features add to the character & charm here & we do not wish to exclude children or those less stable on their feet, it might well be that we are not best suited to their requirements.
