An architect-designed private fjord villa set on approximately 4,000 m² of secluded grounds, sleeping up to 15 guests, just 25 minutes from Preikestolen and 30 minutes from Stavanger.
This is a place for guests who want more than a place to sleep. Here, the feeling is space, silence and privacy. Days move slowly between the garden, the river, the fjord and the terraces. Evenings are spent in the wood-fired hot tub, the private sauna, around the fire, or by one of the villa's wood-burning fireplaces.
The villa offers three distinct indoor lounges — a generous main floor, a relaxed loft lounge, and a separate cellar retreat with a wine wall — so a group of 15 can spend time together without ever feeling crowded.
A 14-ft boat is available in season for fishing and exploring Lysefjorden and the surrounding archipelago — fuel included.

The main floor is the heart of the home — large kitchen, dining for 12, and a comfortable lounge with a fireplace where the whole group can gather.
The loft lounge sits above it all, with a 65" TV and a more relaxed feel — ideal for movie nights, teenagers, or a quieter space away from the main floor.
The cellar lounge offers something different again: a grown-up retreat with a wood-burning fireplace, deep sofas and a built-in wine wall behind glass sliding doors. Ideal for late evenings, after the kids have gone to bed.
A Hartley Botanic greenhouse in the garden
In the garden stands an authentic Hartley Botanic greenhouse — handcrafted in England by the same maker that has supplied greenhouses to Highgrove and Kew Gardens. A quiet place for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine, whatever the weather. Guests are welcome to pick fresh herbs and vegetables when in season.
Sleeping arrangements
The villa sleeps up to 12 adults in proper beds across five bedrooms and an open loft bedroom. Additional sleeping arrangements can be made available when needed, allowing up to 15 guests in total. A fixed crib is ready in the villa; an additional travel cot can be provided on request.

The house is a dream. The pictures don't do it justice. Rune and Synnøve are amasing hosts. They went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
