Welcome to Scharnebeck Mill
Our guesthouse/holiday apartment is beautifully and idyllically located in the heart of Südheide, directly on the Örtze river, surrounded by forest, water, and meadows.
The large property includes its own ponds where you can swim and fish.
On approximately 11 hectares of idyllic land, you will experience pure nature between water, forest, and meadows, situated directly on the banks of the Heide river Örtze.
However, it wasn't the Heide river, but the small Hasselbach that powered the millstones.
It flows into the large mill pond, the mill's energy storage.
According to the oldest document, the mill belonged to the Hasselhorst estate, mentioned in 1646. Its later owners built it in 1743 as an oil and grain mill.
The current mill building dates from 1841. A bridge connects both sides of the river, opening up direct access to the cycling and hiking trail network into nature, forests, or to the nearby heathlands of the Südheide Nature Park. Cycling routes 4 and 10, as well as hiking route W15 of the Südheide Nature Park, run in close proximity to the property. Here you can enjoy nature: whether on foot, by bike, from a boat, or on horseback.
For horse lovers, stables and private pastures are available.
The heath village of Hermannsburg is approximately 2 km away.
A bus stop is located right outside the door. Bed linen and towels are included. A rowing boat and bicycles (no e-bikes) can be rented.
Swimming is possible in the pond with a slide. A washing machine and tumble dryer can be used for a fee. Free parking is available on the premises. Check-in: 3 PM - 6 PM or by arrangement Check-out: 10 AM

Ich kenne wenige Orte, die so sind wie die Pension Scharnebecks Mühle. Die Lage ist traumhaft, die Zimmer sind schön und das Frühstück weiß ebenfalls zu überzeugen. Günter als Pensionswirt ist an Herzlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft kaum zu überbieten. All das bekommt man auch noch zu einem mehr als fairen Preis.

So eine schöne Anlage, herzliche Gastgeber, die jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stehen, leckeres Frühstück, Natur pur, ausreichend Parkplätze, kurze Wege zu den Heidewanderungen und nach Hermannsburg zum Einkauf.
