Located in the upper part of Birkebeinerbakken, you can put on your skis inside the cabin and head straight into the famous cross-country trails at Sjusjøen. In summer, the area offers beautiful hikes, mountain biking and fishing – perfect for families and groups of friends who enjoy outdoor adventures all year round.

For families, there are plenty of fun activities nearby, such as horseback riding, playgrounds, or day trips to Hunderfossen Family Park or Lilleputthammer miniature town.
Fishing enthusiasts will enjoy the nearby lakes and rivers.
Sjusjøvannet is known for large pikes, and other nearby waters offer great trout fishing.
We recommend hiking to Lunkefjell, about 1000 meters above sea level.
From here, you’ll have stunning views in every direction.
Take a break by Store Lunken – the shallow water makes this a surprisingly warm and idyllic swimming spot in summer.
Back at the cabin, you can enjoy the view from the terrace while grilling dinner.
