You won't find any better location if you're trying to experience Edinburgh high points -- the castle, good food and restaurants, museums, and access points to wonderful walks. It was everything we needed to explore this beautiful city. Easy access to train station, too -- you don't need a car!

The apartment was in a great location for quickly bouncing back and forth between New and Old Town. It was also more spacious than expected from the photos. The apartment was in a perfect location.The only downside was finding the actual apartment and getting the lock box open. I had to get help opening the thing!
