This delightful property, complete with a hot tub, is situated in the desirable residential area of Carlos Park. Its location is perfect, just a five-minute stroll to the stunning seafront promenade that leads to Playa Blanca town centre and beyond.
The interior of the property boasts a welcoming living room with an L-shaped sofa, coffee table, and a flat-screen TV featuring satellite channels such as BBC, ITV, CH4, CH5, and Sky. Complimentary Wi-Fi is also available. The living room leads out to the outside terrace where the hot tub is located. The kitchen is adjacent to the hallway and includes a breakfast bar with seating for the living room. It has all the necessary amenities for a self-catering holiday, such as a fridge-freezer, microwave, hob, and oven. The kitchen also provides direct access to the shaded Al Fresco dining area and utility area.
The property offers two lovely bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom features a double bed, two bedside tables with reading lamps, and plenty of wardrobe space. Patio doors lead out to the outside terrace and hot tub. This bedroom also includes an en-suite bathroom with a WC, a bath with a shower over it, a curtain rail, and a single washbasin. The second bedroom has twin beds with bedside tables and reading lamps and plenty of wardrobe space. There is a separate bathroom with a shower, WC, twin washbasins with a vanity mirror and lighting.
The exterior of the property is spacious, featuring plenty of seating, a shaded Al Fresco dining area, and sunbeds for two. The four-seater hot tub is located directly outside the master bedroom, offering distant views of the ocean and Fuerteventura Island - a perfect setting for enjoying a drink during the day or evening.
The location of Carlos Park is ideal, with easy walking access to the seafront promenade that stretches from Faro Park, lighthouse area to Marina Rubicon and beyond to the beautiful Papagayo Beaches. Playa Blanca was once a simple fishing village, but it has now grown into a thriving and popular resort, ideal for families and couples seeking a relaxing time on the beaches or wandering around the promenade for some shopping. The resort offers an abundance of self-catering villas and bungalows, with no shortage of restaurants to choose from. If you feel adventurous, you can take a ferry to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura, which takes only twenty minutes.
There are efficient taxi and bus services that are inexpensive, allowing you to explore further areas if you decide not to hire a car. Nearby parking spaces are available for Carlos Park.
This property is fully prepared for arrival and departure clean and includes a mid-stay change of linen and towels for stays of ten nights or longer. All linen and bath/hand/tea towels are provided. Additional cleaning services are available upon request at an additional cost. The property can accommodate up to four people, and prices are based on two. • When leaving the airport, follow the sign for Yaiza and pass under the bridge.
• Leave slip road and merge onto dual carriageway, giving way to traffic approaching from the left. Continue following signs for Yaiza and Playa Blanca – the number of the road is LZ-2 and this dual carriageway goes uphill, passing petrol stations on both sides of the road.
• Continue on this road (LZ-2), following Yaiza and Playa Blanca signs.
• The dual carriageway speed limit will eventually drop down to 80 km and, shortly afterwards, reduce into two single lanes. You need to move into the left hand lane as soon as possible after the 80 sign so that you can take the left single lane, keeping on the LZ-2.
• Continue along the LZ-2, passing through Macher, and dropping down onto the large Macher roundabout (EuroSpar can be seen on your left).
• Take the second exit (straight over), continuing along the LZ-2 and up the hill, out of Macher. You will shortly come to another roundabout which you continue over (second exit).
• At the next roundabout (third exit takes you to Puerto Calero) take the second exit (straight over) and continue along the LZ-2. You will go uphill and then drop down, where the road goes into two lanes. Move over to the right hand lane as, shortly after passing Lanzarote Caballo on your right, you will come to another roundabout where you need to again go straight over, taking the second exit.
• Continue along the LZ-2 and shortly after passing petrol stations on both sides of the road, you will come to another roundabout. Go straight over (second exit) and continue on, where you will pass by the village of Uga, on your right.
• At the next roundabout, take the first exit, sign posted Playa Blanca, and continue along the LZ-2 bypassing the village of Yaiza on your left. Once you have fully passed Yaiza, you will see a roundabout on your left but if you keep on the main LZ-2 you will not enter the roundabout, but be aware of traffic potentially entering your lane from the left, off the roundabout.
• Continue on the LZ-2 for approximately 15 to 20 minutes until you reach a roundabout to enter Playa Blanca. Take the second exit to the right (the first turns almost back on itself on to a road running parallel with the LZ-2) on to the Avenida Faro Pechiguera.
• Continue along the Av Faro Pechiguera, where you will come to a mini roundabout (watch out for the speed bump) go straight over the first one and at the second one, take the second exit left (onto Calle Av. Archipielago). Continue along and you will shortly see Aqualava Waterpark on the right, take the right hand turn before it and continue along Calle Lanzarote. The 5th right is Carlos Park.
• Enter Carlos Park and go over a small roundabout (passing Fernandez & Wenzel on the left). There are a few parking spaces shortly up on the left or right but the closest to Blue Heron is the first parking bay on the left, third slot.
• Carlos Park 35 is then off to the left, the second villa on the left.
Remember always carry your driving licence and passport with you in the car, wear your seat belts and pay attention to speed restrictions.
Key Collection, Villa Access & Alarm Instructions
KEY SAFE LOCATION - Enter the small gate to where the front door is, turn around and
the key safe is by the small gate.
KEY CODE - 2301 enter these numbers into the front of the combination
box and pull down the button on the left to open it, and the keys
will be inside. After removing the keys, spin the dials so that the
code is invisible for security reasons. When departing the villa
for the final time, return the keys to the keysafe and again, spin
the dials.
KEYS PROVIDED - Front Door Key
ALARM INSTRUCTIONS - A security alarm system is installed and available for use. It will
NOT be set for your arrival. The alarm panel is a few steps into
the villa, on the right, between the twin bedroom and family
bathroom. To enable the alarm, simply press the red button and
exit the villa. To disable the alarm, press the green button, then enter 8596
ASSISTANCE - In the event that you need assistance during your stay, please

The villa was excellent and exactly as we expected it to be. The location however was a huge problem for a self catering holiday. A 20 minute each way walk to the nearest useable supermarket and a 30 minute each way walk to the nearest proper bar. A taxi trip to LIDL each week to obtain butcher meat etc

Tina replied quickly to any questions asked about villa. Easy directions and check in instructions, home from home everything you need in villa. Wi-Fi very good. Sun terrace with hot tub is brilliant. Carlos Park is a quiet and pleasant location. Perfect if you like walking, about a 15 minute walk to Flamingo Beach. We would definitely return to Blue Heron Villa.
