This spacious and elegant two-floor apartment is located in a historic palace dating back to 1400 called "Palazzo Ottolini" from the name of the Counts Ottolini, a noble family from Verona, which in the sixteenth century acquired and renovated this majestic palace.
The building has two entrances: the main one is on Piazzetta Ottolini and has a portal decorated with the emblem of the noble family, the other one is on Lungadige Panvinio that once lapped the river Adige.
The ground floor consists of a spacious dining room, a living room with bookshelf and TV and a modern fully equipped kitchen.
A wooden staircase leads us upstairs to the sleeping area: on the left we find a double bedroom, on the right a bedroom with two single beds which leads to a third bedroom with two other single beds.
Both bedrooms, separated by a sliding door, are overlooking the river Adige.
The bathroom has a bathtub/shower.
The apartment has also a private garden which is accessible by a separate entrance.

The apartment is very dated and dingy, from the paint to the artwork. It feels like everything is secondhand. There isn’t a comfortable chair to sit in. The supplies in the kitchen are lacking: if you don’t drink coffee or wine good luck finding a glass. It is a large place and close to everything.

I booked this property for three nights as part of a longer holiday. The riverfront location and space were the biggest attractions, as was the gatden. The propery didn't disappoint. It's in a beautiful old block with period character (and creaks!) So don't expect all mod cons. That said, it was very comfortable. Parking was easy. I would recommend this property and stay here again
