Accommodation description
This modern semi-detached chalet with lovely garden is located a short distance from the ski lift and the slopes of the Kötschach-Mauthen-Vorhegg ski area, but the top ski area Nassfeld and the Weissensee can also be easily reached by car from here.
In summer, this is the region for beautiful hiking trails, near the border triangle Austria-Italy-Slovenia.
The beautifully landscaped garden with lovely covered terrace lets you enjoy the peace and quiet of this area The Kötschach - Mauthen - Vorhegg ski area is a small but fine ski area with 6 km of slopes and 37 km of cross-country trails.
Kötschach-Mauthen is located at the top of Carinthia's Gailtal valley, embedded in breathtaking mountain formations, belongs to the Nassfeld - Pressegger See tourist region and offers a good selection of restaurants and shops, various hiking and cycling tours, the Hike World with 25 themed trails and a large swimming pool (water and wellness oasis Aquarena).
Other ski resorts in the region include the Nassfeld ski area with 110 kilometres of slopes, the Zettersfeld ski area at the foot of the Schleinitz in the Lienzer Dolomites in East Tyrol with 21 kilometres of slopes or the Golzentipp family ski area in Obertilliach in the eastern Tyrolean Hochpustertal with 12 kilometres of slopes.
There are many activities such as hiking, walking and mountain biking.
Also visit Wolayersee and Frischenkofel to experience the impressive mountains and lakes.
In summer, the Waldbad Mauthen natural pool or the Pressegger See east of Hermagor offer lots of swimming fun! Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed.
