March-Buchheim offers excellent infrastructure: Nearby you will find Sauna Haus Wellness Pur, EDEKA, Netto, and in the village center—just a few minutes’ walk away—the post office, butcher, pharmacy, and Heizmann bakery.
Europa-Park Rust is around 25 minutes away by car.
Basel (Switzerland) is about 60 km, Strasbourg (France) approx. 80 km, and Colmar (France) around 50 km away.
You can reach Freiburg by car via the expressway in about 10–15 minutes, or take the tram from the Park & Ride terminal Moosweiher (Freiburg Landwasser) directly to Bertholdsbrunnen (city center)—the perfect starting point for shopping or visiting the Freiburg Minster and old town.
Ski resorts are accessible via Hinterzarten (30 minutes) as well as Schauinsland and Feldberg (approx. 45 minutes).
