Hunters Lodge is perfectly set in the delightful little village of Scruton which is located outside the wonderful market town of Northallerton.
Surrounded by the North York Moors National Park, this detached property is simply stunning and is everything you would want from a holiday cottage.
Hunters Lodge still retains its sense of history, after being converted from an old barn with exposed beams throughout, giving you that home from home feeling as soon as you step in.
On the ground floor you have a delightful and comfortable living area which offers fantastic views of the spectacular countryside, a wood burner for those colder evenings, adding additional heat and charm, a great area to kick back and relax in with a glass of red after a long day exploring this wonderful area.
The large country style kitchen which is well presented and well-equipped gives you plenty of room for food preparation and dining space, should you wish to have a home cooked meal.
In addition, this is a great area for socialising in or playing a board game with the family.
Adjacent from the living room down the hallway are two good sized bedrooms, both with fresh linen, guaranteeing a perfect night’s sleep ready for the next day’s adventure.
In between both bedrooms is the large family bathroom, with a shower over bath should you wish to have a long soak.
To the rear of the property, you have a perfect garden which offers a seating area, giving you a great place to sit out and relax in the summer months, whilst enjoying a glass of fizz or taking in the fresh country air with your morning coffee.
With the cottage situated outside of Northallerton, the local pubs, restaurants and shops are within easy reach as well as the world-famous Betty’s tea room where afternoon tea is a must.
