Historic, thatched farmhouse for ten people and an adjacent four-person cottage make up this lovely 14-person accommodation located on the owner's property. Located on the village outskirts of Havelte, with on the one hand the woods and on the other the wide views over rolling eselands, you step into another world. Here you will still be said a friendly hello by locals, even if they don't know you. Havelte has the convivial atmosphere that characterises villages in Drenthe. Don't forget to visit the Havelter dolmen and the Holtinger sheep herd.

The farmhouse section features a cosy, bright living room and living kitchen. The living room has a spacious seating area with a television. There are dining tables with enough space to eat together or play a game. The living kitchen includes a large fridge with freezer drawers, 6-burner gas hob with double oven, filter coffee maker, kettle and dishwasher. The storage room has a washing machine. On the first floor there are ten beds divided into two bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one with shower and one with bath.

The four-bed cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with a filter coffee machine. It has a private terrace that connects to the spacious living room and inside you will find a bathroom with shower and toilet. On the first floor is a large and small bedroom, each with two beds. The small bedroom is mainly suitable for small children and not for adults.

Particularities
• Student associations, youth groups (up to 25 years), primary school groups, friend groups (up to 30 year) and care groups are not allowed.
• The minimum age of the main booker for this holiday home is 18 years.
• Youth groups are only permitted in this accommodation with responsible adult supervision.
• This location is not suitable for student parties, bachelor parties, or drinking parties. Please note that it must be quiet from 11:00 PM onwards, due to the surroundings and other guests on the premises.
• If you book bed linen, the beds will be made upon arrival.

Surroundings
The Drenthe village of Havelte is located in the woods. There are endless opportunities for cycling and hiking. The beautiful National Park Dwingelderveld is also nearby: a national park full of interesting flora and fauna situated in beautiful surroundings. Would you like to delve into the fascinating history of the region? Then visit the Memorial Centre Camp Westerbork, Museum Village Orvelte or one of the many dolmens in the area. Visit Duinen Zathe in Appelscha, go swimming in the former sand quarry Het Blauwe Meer in summer or rent a boat in Giethoorn. Havelte is the ideal place to unwind without getting bored.
