This cozy holiday home with an attached shed on the south-facing slope above Rueun stands alone amidst unspoiled mountain scenery.

Alpine meadows and forests, along with small mountain streams, surround the Tegia Cucagna.

Enjoy the expansive panoramic mountain views of the Surselva from the wood-fired hot tub.

In spring, summer, and autumn, the Maiensäss is accessible via the alpine road from Rueun or Siat (permit required) with an all-terrain vehicle (parking available).

In winter, the path from Siat to the hut can be traversed on snowshoes, taking approximately 1.5 hours.

Ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, nature lovers, hikers, mountaineers, bikers, and in winter, for snowshoeing, ski touring, winter walks, and with a bit of luck, wildlife observation – simply a paradise.

Non-smoking accommodation. **Unit Description** Bedrooms: 2 bedrooms upstairs: Cozy bedrooms, each with two single beds and unique views.

One bed in each room can be folded up and stored beneath the other.

The bedrooms have a large shelf for clothes and storage.

A baby crib (foldable travel cot) is also available.

Bed linen is provided and included in the price.

In the living room on the ground floor, the sofa can be extended into a French bed for two additional people. Living Area: An open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining, and living area.

In the center of the living room are the wood-burning stove and the kitchen island, a dining table with 4-6 chairs, a sofa bed, and a shelving unit.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment.

The photovoltaic system supplies electricity for lighting and for charging laptops, mobile phones, or e-bikes.

A fully automatic pellet stove and a battery system with a solar boiler for hot water ensure optimal comfort. Kitchen: The kitchen is well-equipped with a gas hob and oven, a mixer, an espresso pot (coffee not provided), a raclette grill, and a fondue pot.

Kitchen towels are provided and included in the price.

A compost bin for organic waste is available.

Resources such as water, gas, wood, and electricity must be used carefully.

This is an off-grid Maiensäss with its own spring and a sealed wastewater tank. Bathroom: The bathroom features a toilet, a sink with a mirror cabinet, and a shower.

Towels must be brought from home.

Note: No hairdryer provided (uses too much electricity). Outdoors: A well/solar-powered outdoor shower is available for warm summer days, as well as a wood-fired hot tub for a wellness experience.
